Sure, we are a 501(c)(3). However, we are much more than that. We are change makers. We are visionaries. We are working to come alongside 12 to 18 year olds to help them thrive intellectually, physically, and emotionally. We are the New Braunfels Youth Collaborative.

Communities in Schools of South Central Texas
For over 30 years, Communities in Schools South Central Texas (CIS) has helped students from kindergarten to 12th grade achieve in school, graduate, and live successful lives. CIS is the only campusbased nonprofit program caring for the most vulnerable students in the districts they serve.
Services include supportive guidance/counseling, mental health intervention, health/human services (basic life needs such as shelter, food, and clothing), tutoring, and college preparation assistance. Every student who needs help receives help.
Communities in Schools of South Central Texas will office in the Mill
Street Youth Center. -
School of Choice
New Braunfels ISD’s School of Choice offers students who wish to simply focus on school work the opportunity to do just that. Whether the student would like to graduate early without typical school distractions or needs to be able to balance work and school, the School of Choice’s flexible options can meet their needs.
This innovative program will be housed in the Mill Street Youth Center.
