We’re making history with a historic building. We’re bringing students back to a corner of New Braunfels that’s been the home of our community’s work to equip students for successful futures since 1855.
Over the coming year, New Braunfels Youth Collaborative will completely renovate the former New Braunfels ISD administration offices, along with Academy Street Gym across the street, to house a new, innovative, fun, and well-rounded experience for youth in 6th through 12th grades.

To accomplish this, the Mill Street Youth Center will offer a wide variety of services to students. From spaces for homework to a teaching kitchen to eSports to STEM activities to lounges to a performing arts stage and more, backed by caring, supportive staff and volunteers, the center will be a home away from home.
